Thanks for visiting our site. It’s mainly about orchards, apples and a little bit about pears, what are doing with them and what we are going to do in the future. A shared passion for orchards, apples and cider-making has encouraged us, Matt Adams and John Barnes, to discover more about the subject over the years. Through pruning, planting, picking, pressing, sipping, slurping and tasting we have helped restore some of our ancient orchards whilst developing a delicious range of artisan cider and perry along the way.
Motivated by a desire to help preserve our orchard heritage, we are constantly learning about, experimenting with and refining methods, both old and new, of using the tonnes of fruit which often often go to waste each year. Creating delicious, healthy and natural produce such as bottle-fermented sparkling cider, traditional perry, fresh apple juice and oak matured cider vinegar from this ‘forgotten fruit’ brings value back to the orchards and goes a small way to help protect them for future generations.
We hope you have found your way here because you have tried a drop of our traditional cider, perry or juice recently and wish to find out more. If so we would love to hear from you as your thoughts and opinions are invaluable to us so that we can improve on what we do for future seasons. If you would like to be kept up to date with what’s ready and where to buy, what’s being picked and squeezed, wassails and tastings then please sign up to our newsletter.
